Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Rocky outcrops along the Loděnice brook valley. The Neoproterozoic sedimentary sequence is exposed with greywackes, metagreywackes and schists. phylites, siltstones and metasiltstones. Such a sequence represents typical example of Neoproterozoic slightly metamorphosed sediments. The metagreywackes are typically petromictic with numerous clasts derived from underlying sediments.
